I was treated extremely well while having my vehicle serviced for non-routine maintenance after check engine light illuminated. The entire Galleria Chevrolet staff handled business with transparency, respect, and professionalism. After having my vehicle returned, check engine light returned, however, I returned to Galleria Chevrolet with my vehicle and the staff handled the issue with urgency. I was very impressed with the service provided and will certainly be returning for my future needs.
I came in for an oil change and tire rotation, at the previous dealership i used it was a bundle package and I assumed it would be the same here, it was not. Instead of letting me know the individual cost the advisor wrote it all up and said well get on it. I didnt see the actual price until everything was done and I was paying at the window, while I understand I should have not assumed and asked for the cost, it also would have been nice to have them pointed out to me as well while writing the ticket. The next morning was colder and when I went to start my SUV, the low tire pressure light came on so now I have to wonder if they indeed checked all the fluids and things they said they would. It just wasnt a great first impression for me for this dealership but the convenience of the location makes me want to use them again but the cost of a $100.00 oil change will have me looking for somewhere else.
The guys in the service department are great. It does take a little long. Two hours for an oil change and a front end alignment. My biggest and really only complaint is the complimentary car wash. During one if the times I was there I overheard one of the service people tell a trainee we only do car washes if they ask. I asked and got it washed. I wouldnt have if I hadnt overheard that conversation. The oil change before this most recent one took so long I had to leave without a wash, over two hours for just an oil change. This service I had to go without as with the new ownership you dont have a car wash team as of yet. If this a service offered if asked for then it should be available every time. I am also of the opinion if youre going to offer the service it should just be done without someone asking. Its a courtesy or perk of returning to the dealership instead of other oil change businesses that used to be offered at all dealerships and in my opinion one that might motivate return business as those chains dont offer that.
I couldn't have asked for better. I was greeted quickly and the service writer went above and beyond making sure that I was informed and up to date. He even drove me to my work and completed the work quicker than anticipated. I will be back.
I came in for a problem regarding a service light. I was told I needed $3k worth of repairs, so I did that and the light was still coming on. They told me everything was fixed but Chevy doesn’t make the part which turns off the service light and I would have live with the light constantly on and dinging every time I start the engine. This is not acceptable.
This was either my 36th or 37th vehicle since I was 15 & 1/2. It was easily a top two easiest and least stressful vehicle purchasing experience I can recall. My salesperson, Bailey Mitchell, was great as was the Finance Manager, Tracy Brown. I'd definitely recommend Galleria Chevrolet to anyone looking for a Chevy vehicle or really, anyone looking for a vehicle.
