I had been working a deal for buying a car over email and text for about a week. I was coming from out of town to complete the purchase. The online price had a dealer discount and under the details it said discount available to everyone see dealer for details. So I called the dealer and spoke to a manager to see what the details were. I specifically asked if there were any stipulations for receiving the discount and I was told there were none. When I got to the dealership I was quoted a different price than online. I was told that was the price for using their financing vs. my own. So there actually was a stipulation for the dealer discount it was you had to use their financing. Also on that sheet was a charge that was not listed online for "the price you pay" as it reads. It was a listed as a galleria package at $895. Which was nitrogen filled tires wheel locks....etc. Well one thing, normal air is already 79% nitrogen so only idiots pay for that extra 21%. And wheel locks are stupid expensive at a dealership. Go out to the car and there was no galleria package listed on the sticker window. What was listed was an accessory package at $599. So they had to fix our purchase sheet to match the window sticker. The only good part of this buying experience was the finance guy. Very nice and helpful, very experienced at his job.
Jason was very good but definitely took care of the dealership! The dealership is like a war zone though due to construction.No directionals that I could see to get to service.A shocking $150 per hour shop rate? Car not washed after spending close to $4K in service. Called Jason about this and said because of COVID 19 no cars could be washed Come on the car was there for almost a week. Could have sat for the 24 hours needed to wash exterior. Just for customer service why not then do a rain check? Not that I would use but a good rebound.
This was by far the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. I told my salesman, Mike, what I was looking for and he was able to answer every question I had. He understood that I couldn���t come into the dealership and handled everything professionally and over the phone. He told me that all we���d have to do is drive in, sign papers, and exchange keys and we���d be in and out quickly, and that���s exactly what happened. They had everything ready to go right when we pulled up. Thank you so much for following through with what you said and helping me get exactly what I wanted!
